Ford Super Duty (F-250 / F-350) Bolt Pattern, Lug Nuts & Wheel Specs (2017-2024)
Updated October 13, 2026

Before you buy wheels for a Ford Super Duty (F-250 / F-350), you need four numbers: bolt pattern, center bore, lug thread and offset. Here are the typical specs for 2017-2024 trucks and what they mean when you shop.
Super Duty wheel specs at a glance
These are typical specifications for the listed model years. Always confirm with your owner's manual, the tire placard in the door jamb and the retailer's fitment data before ordering.
| Spec | Ford Super Duty (F-250 / F-350) (2017-2024) |
|---|---|
| Bolt pattern | 8x170 (8 x 170 mm) |
| Center bore | 124.9 mm |
| Lug thread | M14 x 2.0 |
| Lug torque | 165 lb-ft |
| Typical stock offset | about +44 to +55 mm |
| Factory wheel sizes | 17 to 20 inch |
What these numbers mean for you
Ford Super Duty single-rear-wheel trucks use the 8x170 bolt pattern that is unique to Ford heavy-duty pickups. GM and Ram heavy-duty trucks use 8x180 and 8x6.5 respectively.
Always use wheels with a load rating that matches your truck's GVWR, especially when towing heavy trailers.
Dually (DRW) trucks need special dually wheels and are not covered by these numbers.
Checklist before you order wheels
- Bolt pattern must be exactly 8x170. Adapters are a last resort, not a fix.
- Center bore should be 124.9 mm or larger with a hub-centric ring that matches your hub.
- Use lug nuts with M14 x 2.0 thread and the seat type the wheel requires (usually 60 degree conical for aftermarket wheels).
- Check the load rating of the wheel, especially if you tow or carry heavy loads.
- Plan for TPMS sensors: move your factory sensors or order new ones.
