Ford F-150 Bolt Pattern, Lug Nuts & Wheel Specs (2015-2024)
Updated October 13, 2026

Before you buy wheels for a Ford F-150, you need four numbers: bolt pattern, center bore, lug thread and offset. Here are the typical specs for 2015-2024 trucks and what they mean when you shop.
F-150 wheel specs at a glance
These are typical specifications for the listed model years. Always confirm with your owner's manual, the tire placard in the door jamb and the retailer's fitment data before ordering.
| Spec | Ford F-150 (2015-2024) |
|---|---|
| Bolt pattern | 6x135 (6 x 135 mm) |
| Center bore | 87.1 mm |
| Lug thread | M14 x 2.0 |
| Lug torque | 150 lb-ft |
| Typical stock offset | +44 mm |
| Factory wheel sizes | 17 to 22 inch |
What these numbers mean for you
The F-150 uses a 6x135 bolt pattern that is unique to Ford. Wheels made for Chevy, GMC, Ram or Toyota (6x139.7) will not bolt on without adapters.
Lug nuts are M14 x 2.0, a coarser thread than the M14 x 1.5 used by most competitors, so lug nuts are not interchangeable.
The Raptor has wider track, different suspension and different tire clearance; the numbers here are for regular F-150 trims.
Checklist before you order wheels
- Bolt pattern must be exactly 6x135. Adapters are a last resort, not a fix.
- Center bore should be 87.1 mm or larger with a hub-centric ring that matches your hub.
- Use lug nuts with M14 x 2.0 thread and the seat type the wheel requires (usually 60 degree conical for aftermarket wheels).
- Check the load rating of the wheel, especially if you tow or carry heavy loads.
- Plan for TPMS sensors: move your factory sensors or order new ones.
