Description Note: Wll NOT work on a 1-ton frame. Features: This is a rear shackle flip kit for 1973-1987 Chevy/GMC ½ and ¾ ton pickup 4WD, 1973-1991 Blazer/Jimmy/Suburban 4WD. Give rear of vehicle 4 inch � of lift. Include: Pair of shackle flip brackets with all hardware needed for installation. Superlift's "flip kit" provides 4" of lift by converting the factory rear spring shackles from a tension style (pointing up) to a compression style (pointing down). This allows the custom builder to decrease block and/ or lift spring height for improved suspension flexibility. The need to address pinion angle, via spring shims, varies depending on numerous factors. Kit includes a pair of new shackle hanger brackets, laser cut and constructed of .25" plate steel, and mounting hardware.
