冷空气进气用阻力更小的设计取代原厂空滤盒，通常配可重复使用的滤芯。进气声会更明显，动力有适度提升。最大的好处往往是可清洗滤芯让保养更方便。
燃油系统零件关乎可靠性。燃油泵无力会导致启动困难、负载时迟滞和熄火。喷油嘴堵塞会导致怠速不稳和失火。对柴油车而言，燃油滤清器是保护昂贵喷射部件的关键保养项目。
如果经常在多尘道路行驶，请选择大容量滤清器并更频繁地检查。棉质滤芯上油过多可能污染空气流量传感器。
常见问题
+冷空气进气能提升马力吗？
通常有少量提升，汽油发动机常见为 5 至 15 马力，配合 ECU 调校更多。声音的变化往往比性能的变化更明显。
+油性滤芯还是干式滤芯？
油性棉质滤芯流量好，可清洗后重新上油。干式合成滤芯更容易清洁，也不会让空气流量传感器沾油。两者都可重复使用。
+柴油滤清器多久更换一次？
请按车主手册的间隔，通常每 10,000 至 30,000 英里（16,000 至 48,000 公里）。如果在陌生加油站加油或出现燃油含水警告，请提前更换。
