Ram 1500 Bolt Pattern, Lug Nuts & Wheel Specs (2019-2024)

Before you buy wheels for a Ram 1500, you need four numbers: bolt pattern, center bore, lug thread and offset. Here are the typical specs for 2019-2024 trucks and what they mean when you shop.

Ram 1500 wheel specs at a glance

These are typical specifications for the listed model years. Always confirm with your owner's manual, the tire placard in the door jamb and the retailer's fitment data before ordering.

SpecRam 1500 (2019-2024)
Bolt pattern6x139.7 (6 x 5.5 in)
Center bore77.8 mm
Lug threadM14 x 1.5
Lug torque130 lb-ft
Typical stock offset+19 mm
Factory wheel sizes18 to 22 inch

What these numbers mean for you

The fifth-generation Ram 1500 (2019+, DT) switched to a 6x139.7 bolt pattern. The previous Ram 1500 Classic (2009-2018 style) uses 5x139.7, so wheels do not swap between them.

Its 77.8 mm hub bore is smaller than GM's 78.1 mm. Many 6x139.7 aftermarket wheels have a large bore with hub-centric rings, so they fit both, but always check the bore.

Trucks with the factory air suspension (4-Corner Air) need extra care with lifts: use kits made for air-equipped trucks.

Checklist before you order wheels

  • Bolt pattern must be exactly 6x139.7. Adapters are a last resort, not a fix.
  • Center bore should be 77.8 mm or larger with a hub-centric ring that matches your hub.
  • Use lug nuts with M14 x 1.5 thread and the seat type the wheel requires (usually 60 degree conical for aftermarket wheels).
  • Check the load rating of the wheel, especially if you tow or carry heavy loads.
  • Plan for TPMS sensors: move your factory sensors or order new ones.
