Sharing its DNA with our race-proven XL80, the XL40 unleashes 5,224 lumens of trail illumination without overpowering your bike's electrical system. Specifically optimized for modern off-road bikes with lower-output OEM stators, this premium light draws a highly efficient 43.5 watts, giving Yamaha YZ-FX riders the race-ready lighting output they previously couldn't run. Equipped with our signature XL Trail Lens, the system throws a highly functional vertical and horizontal beam pattern that significantly enhances peripheral awareness and near-field terrain visibility. By smoothing out center-beam intensity, the Trail Lens eliminates distracting hot spots. This provides seamless visual clarity through technical G-outs, rapid elevation changes, and tight switchbacks, instilling absolute confidence when the terrain gets rowdy. This complete, race-ready setup eliminates the guesswork of adding a headlight to your YZ250FX or 450FX dirt bike. The high-performance XL40 moto light comes pre-mounted to a Motominded bracket for flawless alignment, housed directly inside a factory Yamaha OEM headlight shell for a clean, secure fit. Built to withstand punishing roost and severe weather, this kit is backed by our signature 30-day satisfaction guarantee and a limited lifetime warranty.
