With the included custom bezel, the SS3 Fog Kit adds a larger, high-output fog light, providing wider coverage and significantly more usable light output than stock Plug and Play. The SS3 Fog Light Kit has been engineered to fit your Toyota RAV4 perfectly and can be installed in minutes. Simply remove the factory fog light assembly and bezel, snap the new bezel into place, and attach your new SS3 Fog Light to the bezel. The included adapters plug directly into the factory fog light connector, making installation a breeze. Focused. Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Instead, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SS3 collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency. From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the SS3 serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output (patent pending). The Stage Series 3" LED Pod features a distinctive backlight, in a brilliant amber color. This integrated backlight gives you an additional accent light, along with the main beam. The SS3's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a more unique and modern look than the small indicator LEDs found in other products. To power the backlight, use the included harness to tap your desired vehicle function. White, Yellow, or Dual-Color. Choose 6000K cool white, 3000K selective yellow, or the Dual-Color option. White provides a crisp, modern appearance, while selective yellow improves contrast in rain, snow, fog, and dust. The Dual-Color option combines both colors in one lamp and lets you select the output that best fits the conditions. SmartSelect Dual-Color Control. The Dual-Color option lets you switch the main beam between 6000K cool white and 3000K selective yellow using the factory fog light switch, with no extra switch required. To enter programming mode, cycle the fog lights On and Off three times, leaving each state active for at least half a second and no more than five seconds.
